1st Credit has been shortlisted for outstanding conduct in collections by the industry’s 2017 Credit Awards scheme.
The eighteenth annual industry event, run by independent publication Credit Strategy, takes place in London in May. The independently-judged awards are designed to reward best practice across the credit industry.
This year the awards have been revamped to cover five ‘super categories’: conduct & compliance, lending, credit, collections and technology.
1st Credit, part of the Intrum Justitia Group, has been shortlisted for ‘Outstanding Conduct in Collections’ in the conduct and compliance super category.
UK managing director Eddie Nott said he was delighted that the company has continued its track record in industry-leading conduct and compliance practices. In November 1st Credit won two awards for its customer approach at the 2016 Collections & Customer Service Awards in Manchester.
“Our conduct directly impacts customer well-being and we are delighted that our efforts in this area have been recognised by this prestigious awards scheme,” he said.
“The team at 1st Credit continue to seek ways of enhancing collections practices and further improving customer experience – recently becoming the first in the field to secure an ISO standard on dealing with vulnerability.”
