Intrum shortlisted for five Credit Awards
UK business recognised for collections excellence
Credit management group Intrum has been shortlisted in five categories for the twentieth annual Credit Awards.
The independently-judged awards are run by publication Credit Strategy and will take place in London on 16 May. The event is designed to recognise excellence and innovation in the credit and collections sectors.
Intrum has been shortlisted for: Best Company to Work For; Best Rebrand; Best Vulnerable Customer Strategy; Outstanding Conduct in Collections; and Public Sector Team of the Year.
UK Managing Director Eddie Nott said he was delighted that the business has been highlighted for its ongoing focus on customer experience, as well as for being a great place to work, and its ground-breaking work in public sector collections.
“The team at Intrum works exceptionally hard to secure good outcomes for consumers in debt and the entries reflect work in this area, including suicide prevention training and the implementation of sophisticated technology to assist collections,” he said.
Nott added: “It is also heartening that our public sector initiative with local councils to improve their collections processes has made the shortlist. We are now working with several local authorities on a range of debt types, showing there is an alternative to bailiff use.”
“Together with our successful rebrand from 1st Credit to Intrum in 2018, it has been a busy time for the UK business, and we are delighted to be considered for five Credit Awards.”
