Intrum shortlisted in collections awards
Excellence in customer care recognised in four categories
Credit management group Intrum has been shortlisted in four categories at the thirteenth annual Collections and Customer Service Awards.
The firm has made the shortlist for the Best Conduct & Culture Award, Best Customer Service Provider and Best Vulnerable Customer Support Initiative. In addition, Intrum’s joint initiative to transform public sector collections has been shortlisted in the Best Public Sector Team of the Year category.
The awards are run by independent publication Credit Strategy and will take place in Manchester on 16 October. The event is being held as part of the Collections & Vulnerability Summit and is designed to recognise excellence, ethical practice and innovation in the collections sector.
UK Managing Director Eddie Nott said the focus that Intrum places on customer care is an integral part of its success.
The firm uses innovative staff training, technology and market-leading collections practices to ensure the best possible result for customers. It has achieved the highest level of Investors in Customers (IIC) accreditation for five consecutive years.
“Great customer care and appropriate help for vulnerable customers are top priorities for Intrum and it is fantastic to see the team shortlisted across multiple categories once more,” said Nott.
He added: “We lead the way with our focus on specialist training, technology and vulnerability and are delighted that our efforts to change the way public sector debts are bearing fruit.
“More councils are open to implementing FCA standards, placing different debt types with us – improving both customer experience and their financial returns.”
